A guide to using my preferred pronouns: Zae/Zaer/Zem
ZaeÂ
Pronounced/sounds like: “hey” except instead of a h sound, it’s a z sound.Â
Used like: “Zae are (Zae’re) going to work out.” “Zae hates working out.” “Zae are (Zae’re) really cute.” “Fin is average height, zae wishes zae was taller though.”
Zaer
Pronounced/sounds like: “hair”, except again it’s a z sound.Â
Used like: “Zaer sister likes to sing loudly in the shower.” “Fin still sleeps with zaer baby blanket.”
Zem
Pronounced/sounds like: “hem”, except again replace the h with a z sound
Used like: “Fin’s boyfriend lives far away from zem” “
Bonus Round:Â Zemself
Pronounced like: “hem+self” not to be mistaken with “him + self”
Used like: “Zae doesn’t like sleeping by zemself. It makes zem feel lonely”
(Side note: Since zae/zaer/zem is in terms of they/their/them, gramatically it is plural. so it's Zae are, not zae is)
