nighttime essay writing ✨
Finals during quarantine is just the absolute most chaotic academic experience I've ever had. I'm really just spending my nights writing essays until dawn and my days sleeping and drowning in caffeine while reading up on my sources and procrastinating actually writing anything until night has fallen and everyone in the house is sound asleep.
I just finished writing the following essays for finals:
"Utopian Metapatterns and World Futures"
"Modeling the Effects of Golf Course Maitenance Strategies on Spotted Salamander Populations Using Stella"
"Applications of Science Fiction Technology for Minneapolis Public Transit Systems"
"Analyzing Media Representation of Environmental Scientists and Activists"
At this point, if someone asked me to explain what the fuck I wrote in those papers I would absolutely not be able to. My brain is officially taking a sabbatical for the rest of the summer
Have a fifteen page paper to write but only twelve pages worth of ideas?
Don’t worry. It’s time for some

An essential part of my writing process is screaming, so having to sit in the lobby on a desk shift is truly hindering my brilliance. Even though a brilliant person would have started their final paper weeks ago instead of procrastinating on the last day.
The amount of respect i have for a professor directly correlates to the amount of effort i put into their final essay send tweet
had a little writer’s block while churning out a paragraph for my philosophy essay assignment so i got onto bed and started talking to myself, complete with frustrated hand gestures, trying to convince the four walls of my room of my thesis
i gotta say, it has helped me a bit
