Sephiroth's tendency to treat living beings as objects doesn't stop at his puppets. It also extends to his darling, his precious doll, but in different ways...
༻❁༺ Assuring that darling's body is immaculate, ripe for Mother's taking whenever the time comes. Even in her own fights, he wouldn't let her body touch the ground. She must be pristine at all times.
༻❁༺ Emotionally isolating her so that he becomes the sole source of validation she subconsciously craves. He doesn't like to share his toys. It also ensures she's focused on her goal of collecting energy for him and JENOVA.
༻❁༺ Masquerading as her jaded but well-meaning mentor while slyly stroking her resentment and scorn towards everything else to secure her loyalty.
༻❁༺ He's touch-starved, but yet, he wouldn't even kiss his doll. That's for the reunion later, when they both ascend to godhood.
༻❁༺ His cool and collected composure has never been tested like it is with his doll; whether it's because of her stubbornness or the intoxicating scent of JENOVA that she sometimes exudes, he can never get enough of her.
༻❁༺ But what gets him to break that composure and go almost feral is witnessing her growing strength and occasionally catching glimpses of an ominous, faint pink glow in her eyes. These are strong signs that the reunion is progressing far. And he's hell-bent on making it happen as soon as possible.
༻❁༺ She's never getting her lost memories back. She doesn't need them when she has him. Her one and only friend, mentor, soulmate... Whatever role she needed to fill that empty void in her heart, he can play it for her. He is her everything.

Dissidia Opera Omnia finally did it. All of my poor hurt kiddos get to be together again and have a shot at being happy. Sice is the last agito cadet the game needed and she is here now <3
