8/10/21 It’s been a weird week! I have had two exams in the last two days, felt so ill I couldn’t stand up properly, got my second COVID-19 vaccination, and was able to safely and legally exist in a public space for the first time today since June. Now just waiting to be able to see my friends and hopefully visit campus again before I graduate! But in the meantime, if I’m feeling better I’ll be going kayaking again and continuing to study Fourier series

Hello again, it's been a while. For the final term of this course, during week 1, we had a pitch deck presentation where we showcased our product venture to the panel. Our presentation focused on the portable smoke filtering device designed to be directly attached to jeepney mufflers. Overall, the presentation went well; however, Sir Jirby provided some significant suggestions that will greatly benefit our journey as technopreneurship students. He emphasized the need for us to delve deeper into the specific details of our product and highlight its unique characteristics, which will give us a competitive edge over other filtering devices. Additionally, he advised us to reconsider the type of material to be used, as pineapple fibers, which were initially proposed, are difficult to extract. In the final presentation, he stressed the importance of being persuasive to our audience, showcasing the necessity and indispensability of our product within our community. This entails not only attracting potential buyers but also creating a sense of urgency and need among consumers.
