Holy shit, hitting you with some concepts for Newman. Ramblings under the cut if you're interested.

He's a detective that dedicates himself so strongly to his cases he spends days on end without sleep until he's having hallucinations or is physically unable to stay awake. Usually passes out at his desk or only goes home if threatened to be taken off the case or fired.

All that to say he only has his job. No family, no friends, just work.

He's an older oc that I decided to repurpose for Catboy, thus why he's also "Finalboy" (CB's nickname for him)

Newman is also part of another story I have, which he's still part of, though I'm switching up his role a tad. Think along the lines of a type-casted actor in my brain. (the secret second reason why I'm calling him finalboy teehee)

Newman is just a tired guy trying to figure out who's behind all the rising assaults in town, while also knowing it's Catboy but trying to just catch him and figure out who's under the mask. Which is all fine until his coworkers start getting picked off and "gifts" are being left for him.
