Final Reflection/Rationale
“MADE IN:” is an integrated awareness campaign that aims to celebrate and connect Kiwi Asian Kids to their cultural roots. It aspires to make New Zealand a more diversified and culturally enlightened country for the future.
Overall, I think that the ‘MADE IN:’ campaign was a successful integrated campaign. It utilizes bright and bold imagery to catch viewer’s attention and create an overall friendly and encouraging learning environment. Even though, I had to work through some major design challenges throughout this project, I feel like it was a positive and enriching experience. At the beginning of the project I struggled a bit with the visual identity. However, after some additional research and exploration, I was able to push through and come out with a clearer and more aesthetically pleasing visual identity.
My favourite collaterals ended up being my poster series and my brochure design. I really enjoyed designing both of these assets and going through an iterative development process with both of them.
Throughout the whole project, I have learned the importance of research and initial exploration. I have also improved my Illustrator and InDesign skills.
