Final ideas

As I had use screen print before, I already knew how to use it and changes I wanted to make from when using it last time to improve the print and the issues of it going off the line last time. After Experimenting with my ideas of sewing and alcohol inks (on paper and on fabrics). I decided to create 2 different shirts with Arabic calligraphy on using the mind maps I created with the images. I want to create these using silk as I like the shine it gives off on the inks and the clothing its self. I want to create stencil using my Cricut machine as cutting Arabic would take a lot of time and I wouldn't be able to get neat enough lines. I want to stick to to using Black acrylic paint for this as lack goes with all colours and can be used as a contrast colour to complete the look with the bottom. Once created, I want to take Photos using both the mannequins and asking my peers to help be models for me.

Project 3: Final print reflections/ Intention for photos

The first 3 images are from Sevdaliza’s instagram. These 3 images are my references for mu intention for the liquid going inside my form and the aesthetic I’m trying to relate to contextually and intention wise for my outcome. The way the liquid flows over her face is what I want for my form to have in order to have that messy look but relationship that links to her work, and the way the transparent face has strong form/shape is how my print came out and realtes to her work which is what I wanted and am glad it came out this way. Also how the silver form into the skin and they merge is a great idea I want to convey within my final photos. The two images of the female in white and then in the red material is Sevdaliza herself and her from her instagram.

PHOTO ONE: STUDIO

These are the two images I want to use for my referencing for studio shot for the final water container photo for the hand in. The way the white contrasts with the focal point and main subject and then contrasts with the background is what I intend to do in order to have my project come out more in great detail and look more as the focal point

PHOTO TWO: CONTEXT

The last 3 landscape images are from Sevdaliza’s music video “The other girl”. I want these to be my referencing for my context photos because they have her exact aesthetic, this is also the music video I used to reference me making the form for my final outcome, the reason I am using black liquid as well. The way the water reflects and has the person in the middle interests me. The way the gold is also used as contrast with the white also works with . my reasoning for choosing the hinge as well since this was another link I wanted to make design wise to Sevdaliza. The image of her face up close that is a 3D rendered object is also the shape reference, nose angle and overall face shape I wanted to create to relate. This is why I want to make my context photo like this because it’ll be able to relate to many different levels of my context and have design meaning behind my final intention

Mr Malboro

Name: David

Age: 61

Story: People call him Mr Popularity but he wasn't always known by that name. Till he was 22 years old he was a completely different person to what he is now. He was nice and shy but then he got involved with taking drugs and smoking. After a night on the binge he passed out and his best friend took advantage of Davids fiancee and in the end killed her. This destroyed Davids life and he started to head off the rails. He became rude, cared less about others and himself. He just wanted money and fame. He had 9 different wives and is now married to a 25 year old Victoria Secret model. When his parents told him he was going off the rails he lost communication with his family and turned out to be very self centred earning money by becoming a drug dealer.

Mr Industry

Name: Raul

Age: 42

Story: Raul is a father of 3, 2 boys, 15 and 17 year, and one girl, 14 years, with a generous wife of 39 years. He lives a happy life full of lies. His children think that his company is one which is trying to fight industry but he is really the head of them all. His parents died when he was 20 in a car accident and he had no brothers or sisters. In later life he found out his wife was cheating on him but they decided to let it go because of the kids and he knew what it was like to have no parents. When he was younger he was against industry and pollution but then by mistake he started working in a big industrial company and he made his way to the top. He earned a lot of money but he started to become greedy and want more so he started his own company.

Here are the final images of the kings after they have been completed. I think they have come out very well and they look just how we wanted them too. I think the sizes could change as I think the king in the white shirt is much smaller than the other two who look like they are in proportion with each other.
