So growing up, my parents didn’t let me watch anime. Like I was allowed to watch it at my grandparent’s house when I slept over but I wasn’t allowed to watch it at home. My dad assumed it was all porn (I think he walked in on my uncle watching hentai when they were teenagers but I can only speculate and don’t really want to know)

Anyways, because of this I only watched a handful of anime and often didn’t know what my friends were talking about.

Now I’m an adult and I’m going back and watching all the anime that’s been recommended to me. One of which is Soul Eater.

And omg.

Teenage me would have loved this anime.

Adult me loves this anime.

It is soo funny. And also tugs at heart strings??? Like what???

Teenage me would have done fan art and wrote fan fiction. Adult me might do fan art.
