Finally handed in my bachelor thesis, you know what that means! (I get to read the 100k+ wc fics I saved in my Marked for Later and continue writing my WIPs 🙌🏻)
The fact that today felt like Friday because I have off tomorrow and I won’t return until April 8th just feels so good. Today I taught from 8:45-10:15 and after that it was nothing but fun. We told them to bring their lunchboxes out to Specials which was PE and they kept asking why. When they got out, we said go play. They were stoked to have 40 extra minutes before lunch time. Then we went out after lunch for our normal recess time. Afterwards, they came in, got their blankets and snacks out, and we watched Hop until close to dismissal. Actually while I’m typing this, I really never taught. They had a grammar test and reading test this morning followed by unfinished work. 😅 It was an easy day indeed. This would ^ have never happened at my old school.
I plan to sleep and only sleep for the next three days 😴

I spent the last 16 hours running back and forth, making sure every pregnant patient in our makeshift ICU had the proper equipment working because the power for half of our building decided to take a dive and our generators are apparently not up to task.
All of this accomplished with a mask I’ve been wearing since Sunday...I’m not even supposed to be working due to my high risk status, but with no other options financially, here we are.
After the hell we went through on the last event, I’m almost glad that I don’t really care about this one lmao
