so i’m just gonna sum up my kids for the event although as per usual i’ll miss most of it because i’m away hah but here goeeees

GRACE; superheroes - ft. @aricdnex abandoned by her mother who believed her powerless, grace practically raised herself and learned her own strength. now, more powerful than ever, she will be the hero she was born to be and stop her mother. 

HELENA; magic-free - ft. @vcnder where helena, the singer, and vander, the artist, are each others muses (seriously what fluff is this)

LUCA; utopian - an ordinary mundane luca is married to his childhood best friend tessa and lives a simple, happy family existence. he owns a bakery and would not know how to throw a punch if asked.

ADRIANA; dystopian - after the zombie apocalypse, a single mother had to learn how to survive and protect her young son. she’s a badass with an axe and takes care of anyone she comes across.

CASSANDRA; fairytale - a scottish princess, straight out of brave, cassie is a fearless warrior that cares very little for her parents endless stream of suitors seeking to marry her.

LORELAI; off-kilter - lorelai is a shadowhunter who’s mother and younger brother were killed by a rogue werewolf. she cares little about hiding her hatred for downworlders and will do everything she can to see these bonds fail. 

if anyone wants to plot with these !! or how any of my characters might fit as versions in your other verses pls let me know.

News of Riverrun had arrived on dark wings; the castle had been stormed, the Blackfish had fallen. When his sister had asked what of Brienne and Podrick, Jon had only been able to offer her a sullen look. With her allegiances now sitting with his sister, he did not hold high hopes that the Lannister party had shown much sympathy. Those hopes only dwindled further as the days passed.

He had felt sorrow for them, aye, but he had far too many things on his mind to dwell on it very long. Being a King was much different than Jon had ever dreamed and though he appeared his usual stoic self, inside he was barely holding all the different pieces together. This was not a responsibility he had asked for, but it was one had to shoulder the burden of.

For a brief moment though, he was able to forget those troubles, good news reaching him for what felt like the first time since first leaving Winterfell. “Lady Brienne”, he stood at the gates to welcome her, Sansa by his side.

//So I’ve officially decided to make this an au blog where Qrow is in fact the father of Ruby. I don’t think that really effects anything I have going on anyway just sort of an announcement for future interactions.

In general he’ll pretend he’s just her uncle. Certain muses that could know (such as Tai, Yang, Raven, or even Ruby) can either know or not depending on what each individual wants to do. It doesn’t bother me either way but I will default to them not knowing unless stated otherwise.

you can't just sit there & put everybody's lives ahead of yours & think that counts as love. you just can't. you have to do things. i'm going to do what i want to do. i'm going to be who i really am. & i'm going to figure out what that is. maybe it's good to put things in perspective, but sometimes, i think that the only perspective is to really be there. because it's okay to feel things. i was really there. & that was enough to make me feel infinite.

Lost & Found

She was already rather dark. Was there a way to make black blacker? Her hair, long, drawn, and wild, brushed against her shoulders and the purple tinge that touched her irises the only physical manifestations of the darkness that now harbored itself inside of her like a parasite feeding off of her already blackened heart. She was the perfect vessel to feed and home the monstrosity tied to the dagger that glinted at her belt. 

The sound of her heels were muffled by the wet grass until she ascended the stairs to her family’s mausoleum. One day Regina would lay here beside them but for now, she had a mission she needed to accomplish. Driven by the heightened sense of power that crackled and sparked in her limbs, Regina passed the tomb of her father and Daniel to stop at the foot of her mother’s coffin. 

Preserved as she had been in life, Cora lay still as if she were sleeping. Regina ran her hand over the glass of her coffin and almost without thinking, the top of the coffin disappeared and Regina could reach out and touch. She looked over her mother with a kind of cold curiosity that she had never been able to find before she became the dark one. Cora looked almost approachable in death and the Dark One laughed to herself at the thought. Tonight she was here for the weapon that had killed her mother. The one that she would have had buried with her. 

Regina’s hand disappeared into her mother’s chest and drew back a blackened heart. The poison of the enchanted candle had congealed inside of her mother’s heart, making it heavy in her palm. With care, Regina placed the heart into one of her boxes and closed the lid. “See you soon, mother,” she whispered. 

That night, having retrieved the two sided candle and her mother’s murderer, Regina lit the candle and sat across from Mary Margaret. There had been protestations but it was nothing to silence her captive and the heart that she had stolen from her chest, ensured that she would remain in her service until Regina had no use for her. “Dead is dead,” she laughed to herself. “What a fool to think that power such as this couldn’t recall souls to the living.” Mary Margaret’s green eyes were wide with terror. 

“Come forth mother!” Regina called as the vortex opened above them. “Come back to us!”
