We finally finished painting the living room, now to finish sorting my bedroom, then painting the bathroom, we dont get internet until the 9th which is why I haven't been online much currently at my parents grabbing more stuff

I moved out today!

So my Mom got a new house and we moved out of my grandmothers house finally. Today I cleaned my old room & packed everything, brought it to my new house & unpacked it. It felt so good to know that i'm taking a step forward in life, but it saddens me to have to leave all of those memories behind in that house. I grew up in it since I was a baby! Another part that saddens me is you never really realize how many lost items you can find. Like every single drawing, love-note, or CD my ex ever made me, or all of our movie/concert tickets. That was really rough :( I wish I had you here to see the new place, I fkn miss you more than anyone could fathom. I hope you're happier now that you're free. Have a great life.

Moving Update

Hey all!

I am officially moved and settled. Right now I'm just trying to get furniture together so that I can finish unpacking, which is actually going much easier than I expected it to.

Tomorrow I start my job at the university. I'm nervous but also very excited as this is the gateway into something that I've always wanted - to work on a college campus. I think it's going to be great.

The move was uneventful. The weather was beautiful and the roads mostly clear, though I hate driving through Indiana apparently as that was awful. The mountains out here are different than the ones in Colorado - they're older, and beautiful in their own way.

So far, so good. I hope to continue to settle in this week and hopefully things will continue to work out.
