Hala Barakat, "To the ones born in exile" | The models are a translation of 3 architecture elements found in the Palestinian culture, defined in the book Permanent Temporariness. The models are pavilions that oppose the construction plan 6036, proposed to turn the Palestinian village, Lifta into a commercial and elite-housing town, also renovating the destruction caused by the forceful removal of its inhabitants. Lifta remains as the last piece of Palestinian history in Jerusalem and it hold a significant value both historically and architecturally to the endangered culture.
