Editing and exporting - 5th Feb:

These are some photos I took of my progress for the music video editing, this was the final time after I had put all the shots together and rendered it entirely before exporting it to Youtube.

Week Six

It is week six of the project and after this week I have two weeks were I will be submitting elements of my work.

This week I plan on getting my advertising collateral produced and mocked-up. this will help visualise and bring to life my designs. 

I have so far completed my short film and need to only edit one aspect of it. I just need help with the software. I have also produced the final poster series that will be used in the exhibition. Frames have been brought and I just need to put the posters in them! I am also wondering about how to show my film. I am currently looking into buying a crappy tv, painting it white and using that in the exhibition. If worst comes to worse then a projector will need to be used.

For the exhibition aspect of my project this is fairly completed. I will aim to speak to my tutor this week to finalise it all.

I have also produced the billboard to help promote the campaign. Im really pleased with how it has turned out. i analysed various posters for the layout and combined digital with hand produced type to produce the overall outcome. I have since placed the design in situ on a photoshop mockup to help visualise.

I will be doing the same this week with other elements.

I will also begin to produce a document to show my journey isn the module as well as presentation that I will be presenting next week.

This week is another busy one but thankfully last weeks experimenting and hand production went to plan which is allowing me to produce the refined outcomes this coming week!

CULTIVATION

Above our final production. With hard work and effort being put in we produced this opening sequence, and if I'm honest I really like it. I feel as if it really fits in with the brief and more specifically the genre which we had picked. With a lot of planning, we knew what we had to get done and how we wanted to do it, unfortunately we couldn't find anyone who is an actress to be starring in or I production, however I feel both Chloe and Lauren did a great job and put in a lot of effort to act in the production.

Mollie, as camera woman was great in not being wobbly and made the most out of what we could do and use the camera to its full potential. The shot list really helped to get a clear structure of what we wanted to get done and how long it would take. We all chipped in to get various angles and shots in, and my personal favourite is the establishing shot towards the end, which I think gives a really good sense of place and time.

The sound in the production was conducted by me, I do think I did a good job In trying to get the sound out clear, and loud, however when we watched them back the hesitations at the beginning were unrealistic meaning the cuts made the sound seem really quick moving, perhaps too quick. Nevertheless I really think the sound is bold with no background noise, therefore I'm happy with how it turned out.

All together the costumes, the music, the editing all was sown together to produce this final product which I am happy with. Perhaps with a bit of extra time we could've gone further with the editing and made the storyline really clear, filming more scenes to really make the most of the time we had, however I feel what we do have is good, and I'm happy with it.
