So like....how do you get a girlfriend not on the internet? I'm homeschooled and would love a relationship but I have no idea how to in a safe way

This is a tricky one haha! I think if there is any clubs you can join in your area? It could be a specific LGBT+ related club or just a random one that you are interested in e.g Photography club. Sometimes you can meet people in the most random places, but it does take time. I think you just have to try your best to find places that there are people your age and you might find a girl you like! You could also ask your friends for help or if they know anyone who identifies in the LGBTQIA+ community, then they can help get you connected with more people. It will take sometime but you just gotta put yourself out there!

I identify as bisexual, and I really want a girlfriend. Like, thinking about being with a boy makes me feel kind of awkward and stressed (probs bc my first and only bf was a very anxiety-inducing experience, it was a bit like a middle school relationship, as was my "first kiss". If you say you’re bi, you’re bi, so don’t worry, you’re valid.

Attraction can’t be forced, regardless of how you identify. But it’s okay to not have a girlfriend, and you’re still valid. Having a partner isn’t the most important thing, so just focus on other important things in life, and you’ll bump into a cute girl eventually;) Sometimes patience is required to get what you want.

There might be lgbt clubs nearby where you can go meet people and possibly a date. Maybe you know lgbt people in your social circles that could help you meet more people.But relationships aren't the most important thing in the world. Being friends with people before you start dating them is a good starting point, but just having friends who care about you is very important too. Your value doesn't lie In your relationship, but in who you are. You shouldn't form your person around someone else, because in that case breaking up might cause you to not be able to function anymore until a next relationship. You should be a strong independent person who will still stand strong after a break up. Sure, you're allowed to be sad, but you shouldn't lose yourself because of the other person.This might be slightly different for people with mental illnesses, but it is very true for most people.~Kris
