My 7th entry for Wayfinder February - a Moana/Maui shipper event Finding Ohana - Chapter 7: Epilogue
Simea’s sixth birthday was a cause for celebration. Not just because of her birthday or the fact she was waving kindergarten goodbye, but also because Moana had just graduated and was wearing a special new ring. Everyone had gathered on the beach for a picnic, bringing blankets, tables and even a few chairs, and while sandwiches and drinks were distributed around, Loto and Moni were gazing at Moana’s hand. “That’s really pretty,” Moni said admiringly. “Rose gold and tungsten?” Loti guessed, so close she could almost lick it (which she wanted to do, but she decided against it). “And what’s that wood?” “Koa wood,” Moana replied happily, and as Maui overheard what they were talking about he quickly put his arm over Moana’s shoulder and showed off his own ring. “Had to get it custom-made!” he beamed proudly.
