Another one of the perks of working with so many organizations between Maryland and Washington, DC is the networking with huge organizations such as The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts!
The Millennium Stage hosted the most epic skateboarding extravaganza imaginable, directly in front of the infamous Kennedy Center; skate bowl, obstacles, and live bands included! The who’s who of skateboarding history and culture was in Washington, DC and with Prince George’s Parks & Rec, we took a group of regulars from the Cosca Skateboard Park to see everything firsthand!
The photos explain so much of the day....
As always, respect s given where respect is due: THANKS to Jimmy Pelletier of The DC Wheels, Diana Ezerins of The Kennedy Center, La-Juan Lester of Prince George’s Parks & Rec, and Mr. Frank McKnew for allowing the use of your amazing photos!
