hi, I only recently started following your blog and reblogged some stuff before i noticed you asking people not to and I wanted to apologise for that. also i think i saw in one of your posts that likes are ok, which confused me because wouldn't that clog up your notifications as well? then again i might have misread. again i wanted to apologise for clogging up your notifications, i really didn't consider how that might effect you.

Likes are okay because I have an xkit extension that allows me to filter my activity, so when I click on reblogs only I can see all my partners replies. However, when personals reblog things etc. that all shows up and it just fills it all up. 

Likes are also okay because they make me curl up happily inside that people enjoy reading my stuff... it’s an ego boost to be honest xD

hi, my studyblr is also a sideblog. it's called submergebusy. my embarrassing story is from my first year of secondary school. so there's my english class reading a text about stonehenge and after we finish the text our teacher asks us if there were any words we didn't understand. no one but me puts their hand up. so naive little me asks "whats an orgy?" the entire class erupts in laughter. my teacher was super nice about it and explained but that day is still seared in my brain 5 years later

to the person who talked about the ib. honestly i'm in the same boat as you. from what I can gather a lot of the advice is be organised and don't procrastinate!! also choose and EE topic you're interested in!! also many people (my parents) have said that even though there is no more PE you should stay balanced and try to work out a bit

so like ive been thinking about elams. and john is tall adn alex and eliza are both smol. so what if john has a low alcohol tolerance. how are they getting a drunk john back home. it's not like either of them are tall enough to support him. does eliza maybe sit on alex's shoulders and they prop john up on that????

Hi! Some one just reblogged one of your posts onto my dash and I just wanted to ask if anyone can join or if you have a set list of people? Also what happens if someone doesn't find the time to finish the "required reading" on time or can't locate a copy?

Everyone is welcome so please do join!! The more the merrier! 

There’s no pressure to finish the reading. If you don’t finish it, the only downside is that you won’t be able to join in on the conversation. 

When we envisioned this, it was very much a case of (a) wanting to talk about books with other people but also (b) getting recommendations of what to read. We’re also very aware that the majority of people will probably only join in every so often. 

Also, the nice thing about it being online is that the conversations won’t be deleted after the first go around. If you finish a book a month after the rest of the group, the conversation will still be there for you to read through and contribute to. 

But no, we’re not trying to give people homework that they have to complete. This is meant to be fun. Make of it what you will!
