     Most of everything that the fox did was completely on impulse. Did that get him into trouble? Of course. But he was usually able to charm his way out of it - or find some other way to weasel his way out of facing whatever consequences came with what he did. “Nothing.” Spoken like a child being caught doing something bad by a parent. He had the common sense to start taking slow steps back, away from the other man, at least.
