Anime North is next week, and this new print will be joining the collection!
Trying to get one last one pumped out before then. A hint for the next one, you say? Well, hopefully I’m not...lion down on the job!
This parody has probably been done before, but it was so firmly embedded in my brain I had to get it out.
You can pick up this print at the upcoming Toronto Comicon in about two weeks! The real version will have nicer 300dpi resolution, not this piddly 72dpi crap. :P
Finished up a commission just in time for March Comicon! The customer wanted Laurel using her Canary Cry in a funny way, so after some idea-bouncing he settled on the idea of her setting it off during a karaoke session. Also, to include Nyssa trying her best to give support and give Curtis a cameo with his glasses breaking from the shockwave.
The shadows, from left to right, are Oliver, Felicity, Thea, Diggle, Curtis, Sara, and Barry. I threw in Cisco for free because I thought it’d be funny (and I loved his interactions with Laurel). Maybe his vibing cancels it out for him.
This is another pic I had fun experimenting in Photoshop with - messing around with blur effects for the waves, and making the karaoke screen give off more of a CRT look. (And c’mon, what bird song could I choose that WASN’T “Freebird”)?
This will also be sold at Comicon as a $5 print. May you shatter glasses at the big karaoke bar in the sky, Laurel. :(
Hey you guys, no lion down on the job!
This one here went through a TON of revisions to their jammies. Originally, I made them more accurate to the robo-style of the lions, but they looked incredibly...not cuddly. Kept going more and more minimal until I thought to myself “Yep, this is the cuddly type of jammies”
Final print for Anime North! You can grab a tabloid-sized version of this piece for just $5 at space C10. I’ll have a bigger info post and map in another post soon.
Overwatch? More like Over-watch these sick moves!
Last item for FanExpo, this matches the “dance-off” keyword I hinted at.
Once again, I’ll be at A42, and you can pick up an 11x17 print of this for only $5! And in glorious 300dpi instead of the ugly 72 you see it at here.
All’s well that ends well...Right?
This matches the “celebratory dinner” keyword I hinted at in my FanExpo queue. You thought I’d go to FanExpo without Deadpool? You thought wrong!
Got this idea after my zillionth re-watch of one of my favourite movies. What, YOU don’t try to watch The Princess Bride at least once a year? Shame on you!
I’m actually amazed by how competent my badly drawn/shaded trees looked once I gave up and ran them through a filter.
