Is it still called Kitchener if done on the Purl side? (Kitchener is a method of closing a toe of a sock so that there’s a flat seam) When I close socks I do so from the Purl side (inside) as I find it easier than from the Knit side (my video shown on the upper left) see https://youtu.be/9VPfdHLcodA I just came across a name Finchley Graft (their video on the lower right) - see https://youtu.be/rWn1CU-wxZQ which closes from the Purl side although their method doesn’t pass through the side stitch at the beginning and end of the closing of the project to remove holes on each side of the graft (which in socks reduces/removes corners on the toe close). #csm #closetoes #closeknittedsocks #knittedgrafting #finishsocks #circularsockknittingmachine #legare400 #ptlegare #legare #sockknittingmachine #antiquesockmachine #knitting #karenramel #csmlove (at Vancouver, British Columbia) https://www.instagram.com/p/COlE7E6JpQw/?igshid=1w0csd00yokab
