I am haunted by @tinybro‘s idea of tween!jasico on the run together after Nico storms off from CHB, so... here we are. it’s literally just a sketch but I had to do something, you know?

Again, inspired by @tinybro‘s chb!Jason AU. Thinking about Jason and Nico post-Jason’s growth spurt, and Jason happily going along with Nico’s chosen aesthetic (to a degree). I imagine they’re a very odd sight out in the world.
Specifically, I am imagining what the Nico di Angelo, Ambassador for Pluto era would look like with his partner in crime in tow...
facin’ total disaster (for certain)
Anyway have some wlw!sprace…
Just... pretty.
Once again, this is from That One Scene in chapter 19 of the incomparable @benafee‘s Remaking the World. Yes, I know that I painted this last year. I know that there are other scenes in this fic that I could draw, and I know that this scene takes place in November. None of that has stopped me from drawing it again.
When we were up north last weekend, we had some of the fluffy, early season snow like this and I was just itching to draw something snowy, so here we are once again.
Not that anybody's expecting any Edie AU content right now, but have a drawing of Edie!Race after the rally.
It was originally going to be part of a larger piece, but I was so happy with how she turned out that I didn't want to ruin it by trying to nail the other character lol

Jack's drawings of Davey never quite feel good enough to show.
“You asked me about trust, and taking a risk? Well, here you go, son of Jupiter. How much do you trust me?”
Is the poison glowing in the book no, is it so much cooler if it is yes.
This was as much an exploration into under-lit faces as anything else, but I’m sure it goes without saying that I did this because of @kingburu‘s Rewrite the Stars, which recently crossed over this scene.
Let’s be honest, the poison scene is absolutely iconic, and has haunted me for eight years. I was bound to draw some part of this eventually.
“Mama?” Nico whispers—and he feels small. The corners of his vision blurs—and for a moment, he doesn’t see the photo, but his reflection. His eyes against the glass screen—his face, and the Camp Jupiter shirt he’s wearing.
- Rewrite the Stars by @kingburu, chapter 5
I wish I had something to say for myself other than that I could not stop my brain from thinking about the moment when Nico finds his mother’s photo. I think I died.
Merry January, Helen. Have a thing.
