yo dude what tf is up with this transphobic shit, this isnt your heart??? nobody who's trans DOES owe you answers, or anyone really for literally anything. imagine if someone started asking you to explain how your mind works in any capacity when you're still trying to figure it out yourself? imagine if someone came up to you and started asking at you to explain why you were cis and how you're cis. could you really honestly come up with an answer for that that wouldn't invalidate some other person's feelings who is also cis? gender isn't something that's biological at a reproductive organ level-- at all--and it varies from person to person. that isnt even to say that SOME people wouldnt be happy to try to talk you through it!! i know i for one, as a trans man, have always been more than willing to talk to people who are curious and just genuinely dont understand through how *i* as a person feel my existence has been. i am still a goddamn man at the end of the day. trans women are still women. humans arent cookie cutter shapes, we come in all sizes and shapes and colors on the inside and out. ive been looking through your posts and its just boggling my mind to see you become this, i've loved seeing your art and your content for a really long time and its absolutely heartbreaking to suddenly see you start calling people like me delusional just for wanting to exist. i know you probably wont even read this far, and my emotions on the situation hardly matter insofaras you should just respect people and who they are just because they're other human beings on this planet and it harms no one. Accepting and identifying as trans is simply the manufacturing of oppression (“transmisogyny”) for trans-identifying males, and real oppression with extra steps for trans-identifying females, because misogyny already exists. As they are now, trans interests come into direct conflict with progress, fairness, and safety for women.

You seem to think that women who do not play along with this are attacking you. And I believe you see yourself as a victim because your trans identity puts you in a “vulnerable” demographic. Let me remind you that 100% of your trans identity is optional, which means…? You chose to tack on a new oppressed identity.

So let me clarify, because I see your indignation: you are correct in believing that lgbt people are despised and sometimes made unsafe by conservatives and those who do not tolerate deviation from heterosexuality. However, you are incorrect if you believe that trans ideology is compatible with lgb. (I’ve reblogged many posts explaining this, feel free to re-read them if you have questions). I am not conservative. I am not intolerant of homosexuality. As a feminist, I am intolerant of anything which keeps women defined by stereotypes and gender roles.

You mentioned that I wouldn’t be able to answer why I’m cis. I can easily answer why I’m a woman. I am not cis. I’m just a woman. I didn’t choose it, and it doesn’t define or limit me. I passively define what a woman is. So do you. You’re a woman.

You’re a woman who grew up in a world which hurt you and shoved ideas down your throat about which mold you were supposed to fit into, that’s the gendered experience. Gender roles. And in your attempt to find a way to break loose of those painful expectations, you thought the answer was to search for a new identity (and social media is nothing if not an Identity Shopping Mall). People online repackaged gender roles and sold them as role play.

One label said what everyone traditionally told you womanhood was: how you will inevitably become the carrier of a child, how you need to adjust yourself to a world not made to prioritize you, how you would be paid less at work, etc. All of those things sound like a pretty raw deal. Real crappy and scary. They kind of make you feel violated. Especially when compared to the masculine gender role of being the default. Males are default in many ways, (I hope you don’t play dumb and pretend you don’t know this, but just in case, some examples are: in scientific and drug studies, which has unknown and possibly negative health outcomes for women), they’re the default in language and media (the “relatable” protagonist, the words “mankind” and “men” are supposedly used to define us all as a species but the words “womankind” and “women” do not encompass all of humanity according to their definitions). In short, you saw yourself on the “losing team” and wanted out.

1) You say you’re a trans man but what exactly makes you a man?

2) What can you, a person who was born female, do as a man that you can’t do as a woman?
