Roan – Tell Me (2018)
Olen aina epämukavuusalueellani musiikkivideoissa, jos niissä täytyy tehdä jotain muuta kuin esittää soittavansa kitaraa. Tässä jouduin näyttelemään timantinmetsästäjää viidakossa. Auts! :-D

If you have a foot in both Finland and Sweden, or some similar situation where a ferry is involved, the situation in the music video might seem familiar.
Traveling between two places, stuck on a boat for hours on end. What I'm trying to tell you is that it's boring as hell, especially if you travel alone.
The song called Thrill by Black Lizard isn't boring though, but it suits this scene quite well. Or rather it suits a situation where you are desperately trying to spend time.
The band called Streak and the Raven from Seinäjoki released an album called Love & War earlier and now they've released the opening track for that album as a artsy music video.
The track is called Ahora the Tipsy Queen and...well, here it is.
What's that? You still haven't listened to baroque pop band Sans Parade? Time to do something about that! Let their atmospherically emotional music wrap you into it's warmth. Here, try out On December 13th.
After that you should go to this earlier blog post and check out the music video for The Last Song Is A Love Song.
FYI BTW, their debut album is out!
Here ya go! The latest track by the band French Films! It's called Latter Days and you'll find it on the album called White Orchid, which will be released on April 5th in Finland and May 3rd in Asia and the rest of Europe.
Enjoy!
Congratulations are in order!
Antero Lindgren has been chosen by Finnish radio channel YleX and music magazine Rumba to top their annual Tulevaisuuden Tusina (=Future dozen), which lists the most promising and interesting Finnish artists for the coming year.
This is an excellent opportunity to post the music video for the song Mother, from Antero's similarly named debut album which was released earlier this year. The album was produced by Risto joensuu and Matti Ahopelto from the band Siinai.
Melancholic but still hopeful, have a listen!

New music video by Delay Trees for a song called HML, which apparently is a tribute to their hometown Hämeenlinna, 98 km north of Helsinki.
Here's the bands description of their place of origin:
"Hämeenlinna is a lush, beautiful, quiet town and also the birth place of famous composer Jean Sibelius. However it's also a pretty dull and hopeless place to live or leave. No matter how far you go from the town, the "Hämeenlinna state of mind" still follows you like a haunted spirit."
The band is actually giving this track away for free through the Soundcloud-page of their record label Soliti, so go grab it over here.
The track is included on the bands second album Doze, which will be released on October 19th.
Hear ye! Hear ye! There's a new Stockers!-video in town and it's called Times Before.
I haven't paid much attention to this band before, but maybe I should as I like the sound of this tune.
This four-piece band from Helsinki is releasing its debut album called We Are The Numbers October 19th.
I hope it turns up on Spotify so I can check it out immediately.
