Here’s a little reminder that John and ‘his mates’ (yeah, I’m quoting that self-parody sketch from episode 7.06 of JFSP here - how cosy) are currently on tour, and it is very much of a brilliant show, as you may expect. 

There are still tickets available for nearly all of the upcoming dates, with the possible exception of the Edinburgh one; and if you missed your chance to get tickets for Richmond, lo and behold - there’s an added matinee on the same day, this Sunday, June 3rd, at 2.30pm.

(As someone who’s already seen the show, and is planning to see it again, I can only recommend you consider purchasing your tickets right now, if you haven’t already.)

Happy new year finnefans. Thank you all so much for the everyone's pictures and stories and especially all the Xmas cards. You've all made the year a little bit better for me. Let's hope 2016 is better for us all

My heart is so full of happiness and love tonight. I have John Finnemore, Simon, Margaret and Carrie to thank for that of course, but also the truly wonderful people of this fandom. Thank you @shappeybunny, @the-real-enigel, @lothiriel84, @lord-greg-powers, @ahobbitinhogwarts, @vvirtue and Leslie for being your amazing brilliant funny selves. I feel very lucky to know all of you. Tonight was great fun - here’s to many more!! :)

Calling all my Kaniac & Finnefan mates!

Simon is doing the Ghost Bus tour this Saturday night (21/11/15) I am going because I need to see this before I leave. 

I would love for some of the people I’ve met through this wonderful fandom to join me. If any of you can. 

I’m just waiting on confirmation regarding which time. It is either 19.30 or 21.00.

“With Great Pleasure” with John Finnemore

...and Stephanie Cole (Carolyn) and Geoffrey Whitehead (Mr Birling!)

It. Was. AMAZING

Terrific performance from all three, and while I won’t give the contents away, there was a good selection of hilarious quote and more moving pieces. John was in sparkling shape, and at the end both Stephanie and Geoffrey did some quotes from Cabin Pressure! We barely had to do any retakes, it was really spot on. I’d never been to a recording before and it was funny to hear John asking us to laugh again when he re-read a text he’d said before :P

John also took his time and signed a lot of stuff at the end, being a wonderful patient sparkle turtle like always! 

After that, awesome night out with the London Finnecrew, and a couple of new faces too (especially glad to meet linguini17, broccolimoose, 2cajuman2, tonipfan, and thedesmondbalbarnconspiracy for the first time!) And to top it all I was hosted by the wonderful and kind the-real-enigel. It’s so much fun hanging out with you guys, I hope to do it again soon in July!! (and maybe even more often, as the job prospects in London are very close to turning into reality...)
