It's the season for chocolate, so as always, I feel an urge to wear Melty Ribbon.

I had always wanted to coord this JSK in a more OTT/hime style with big sleeves and a sash, so here it is! It is somewhat surprising that I don't have any existing coord photos of MRC with a 3/4 sleeve blouse.

On the last weekend of February, I met up with friends for the first time since August. We had tea and ochazuke at Chadoraku, and knafeh (and baklavas to go) at Patisserie Mahrousé while waiting for my train.

I made some pants!

I copied the pattern from a pair I own and wear a lot. This was my first time fitting a pants pattern and I am thrilled with how they came out! The fabric is a wool/polysomething/elasthane blend, which makes them really really comfy, but not as warm as I expected. They have a zipper and button closure in the back and pockets that I could have made even bigger tbh.

These also check off two squares of the @2026-fiber-arts-bingo, because I made them from only stash materials (including lining fabric, waistband interfacing and button) and the fabric was leftover from a skirt I made for my girlfriend. To be fair, we bought a lot of it with the intention of getting two garments from it, but I'm still counting it. Especially because cutting all the pants pieces from the odd shaped leftovers of a circle skirt, with the pattern matching was actually quite challenging.

The sweater is from fint and the scarf is a sophie scarf.
