 “Now, a little birdie told me it might just be your birthday,” Grace begins, carefully sliding in to the bar stool next to Fiona. That little birdie happens to be named Frankie, who also conveniently is out of the house. Each hand is preoccupied with their favourite drinks of choice. Two coasters are procured and slid to their respective spots, but Grace holds off on taking that first sip. 

  “But, in my house, we don’t talk about the number, so... cheers.” 

  There’s also a gift involved, hidden beneath the counter, but that’s for after.

It’s obvious that Endora is exhausted, and she’s almost ready to use Fiona’s shoulder as a pillow. At least worrying with someone else is better than doing it on her own, and her friend understands more than anyone else.

“You know, motherhood should come with a warning label,” she muses. “One that states how children become ungrateful and stop taking your advice. Are you hungry? I figured I might as well have breakfast if I’m not going to sleep.”

             it was easy for zoe to notice how exhausted and drained fiona seemed to feel , or seem to be , for that matter. a lot of things were happening in the house with the council coming in and judging all of them and the next supreme just around the corner to take place of fiona. death was knocking on fiona’s door and zoe didn’t blame her for feeling completely down.        ❛      you’re not the only one going through things , fiona. and i think there’s a reason why you’re in the position you are. have you ever heard of selfishness     ?       ❜      zoe pointed out sarcastically , folding her arms over her chest confidently.      ❛     if you didn’t know anything back then , do you know anything now     ?      maybe some helpful advice    ?     ❜       she asked , walking over to sit down next to fiona.

it’s the MINIMUM FONT SIZE one :)))
