He didn’t know how to tell him. It felt awkward and strange, like he was somehow encroaching on someone else’s territory. Then, EJ realised how long he had been silent for. Sure, he was a quiet guy, wasn’t exactly the most over exuberant in conversation but even by his standard, the silence had been long and awkward.
“I um…I took the Academy entrance exam.” He confessed quietly, sure he wouldn’t get called up for a while, at least not until 21 but…he was on the list. That was the hardest part. “I passed, scored a .97” He hadn’t just passed, he’d nailed it. “So yeah…that’s a thing.”

Because Ramon needed help getting the equipment and they were busy - or so Barry said, in her opinion it was because the jerks there would be intimidated by her, while Cisco was the sweetest guy - Jemma had silently accompanied him to the laboratory to grab everything they might be able to use to stop a new meta. And then it had turned out to be for nothing, so they were just putting the pieces back in the boxes, cataloging them to make sure nothing was missing. When he grabbed the gauntlet that could attract object to it, advanced technology, sure, able to focus on a small target and make it quickly fly to someone's palm, Jemma finally spoke. "How do you do something like this and not use Accio as the activation command," she muttered, and glanced at Cisco because he had stopped working after hearing her voice, "... or a... reference to the Force or... nevermind." What a stupid thing to say, really.

“you came to the right cat,” she glances behind her, up, then, right after she gets off the floor, fluidly transitioning from a stretch to standing. it’s easy with a body that’s designed for such rippling movement. cats are quick on their feet, after all, graceful and smooth. she is no exception-- great big panther of a beast. and there’s a smile on her face, fangs practically on display with the expression. “can you throw a punch?”

i dunno, i just find it really hard to respect a show that announced the “leaving” of these two actresses on international women’s day when really they were just covering for the fact they fired them - the only thing that make it was okay was jess’ passive aggressive posts about moving onto better things :’)
that was honestly, the BIGGEST dicky move and I’m so angry and am glad their rating’s currently suck because they deserve it and I hope it finishes this season but also glad some actors still have jobs because I love them but jess’s post’s were just...perfect and so her.
