Made some more art of my dnd magical girl oc Kaede Hoshino, she made her wish to bring her cat Slinky back after losing him in a house fire she failed to save him from. Slinky got reincarnated into a sentient fire shaped like a cat that Kaede is immune to so she can be with him again. Her magical girl weapon is a flail in the shape of a cat toy which she uses to lead him around in battle, her fighting style resembling ribbon dancing.

+ Her civilian clothes once she arrives at Kamihama, and what she was dressed in by her parents before she left, with Slinky pre-wish on her shoulder. (fun fact he's a chimera!) She's a tomboy who's earned gold medals in track, in her free time she also loves reading shonen manga and light novels, when she's not reading those she's usually making wood carvings to feed as treats to Slinky so he's more well behaved. Kaede prefers to let her actions speak louder than her words, she is fiercely loyal to her friends and will stand up for them far more than she stands up for herself, and generally prefers the company of boys (which is funny considering at least two of her friends later figured out they're girls) as she's not a huge fan of what are considered more "feminine" hobbies, preferring more physical reckless activities like parkour, rock climbing and mountain biking as opposed to going shopping, gossiping or playing dress up as most girls in her grade tend to do. She has a hard home life with her parents not approving of her hobbies and saying she should be more ladylike, eventually she runs away to Kamihama to escape that and because of the rumour that all magical girls can be saved there.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED! FIRECAT FINALLY HAS A REF SHEET!!! AAAAA This character/'sona turns 20 this year and has always been my main representation of myself to the point where I have its spot pattern tattooed to my arms and... this is its first reference sheet! XD I went all out, hoping to never have to draw another ref for it again- though I'll probably do a few supplementary mini-refs of its anthro form and its monster form at some point. I'm so happy with how this turned out. It feels surreal in a way I can't explain.
