Boombox Mini Event!
Is everyone excited for summer!? We sure are! So to celebrate we’re going to have this blogs first mini event! On June 24th, we invite you to Boombox beach day! Use the hash tag #BoomboxBeachDay2017 and post up any beach themed creative works you can think of! Swimming, beach volleyball, building sand castles, exploring tide pools and more! We hope to see you there! ^^
This event is one day only but late or early entries are more then welcome!

Hey guys! Sorry we’ve been a bit quiet lately, I was finishing up this year of school then handling some things but now I have loads of time so! We’d like to do another event or like, twelve. Who knows. Our goal is to do a bunch of small-medium sized events throughout the year. From one day things, to 2-3 day long things. But to do this we need suggestions! Anything from certain holiday themed ones you’d like to see, to fun little events and more! Anything you can think of we’d like to hear!
Another thing we’d like you guys’ opinion on, how would you feel about us hosting a second boombox week? We had planned on keeping the big week long event to a once a year thing in February, but I was wondering how people would feel about one in February and one in august. They’re spread out enough people will have a fair amount of time to prepare without burning out, but we also don’t want to make too many big events. Let us know what you think!
Hey guys, just want to apologize for forgetting tags lately, its probably not too big of a deal but I still feel bad ^^; I’ve been a bit bogged down with school so I’m fairly out of it most days, but I’m going to try to go back and get hings I missed tagged :D
Boombox week is just around the corner!
Just a heads up every one! There’s one week (7 days) left until the start of Boombox Week! And a reminder, use #Boomboxweek or #Boombox week to tag your submissions! Also try to put those tags within the first five tags, as tumblr search some times misses tags after the fifth one!
We’ll be collecting as many of the submissions as we see here, with any NSFW submissions going over on nsfw-boombox
We’re really looking forward to seeing what every one makes! And we will either reblog or repost the prompts post closer to the week, but for now you can find it here!
Well that about wraps Boombox week up! We want to thank every one who took part! Everything was wonderful and we loved it all! Hopefully people had fun and enjoyed the content as much as we did!
We’re still going to be reblogging any late entries people want to post, but starting tomorrow they’re going to go into our normal queue rather then reblogged in large bunches :D
r u lot gonna do another boombox week later on? or is this a one-time thing?
We absolutely plan on doing another boombox week! It will probably be around the same time next year, but in the mean time we want to try and do smaller events around holidays and other things but we haven’t solidified any ideas for that yet. Anything we do will have us poking the community for lots of feedback to make it fun as possible for every one to get involved in, so keep an eye out for posts about future events and polls for sure!
And in the mean time if any one has ideas for events and the like feel free to send them to us and we’ll keep track of everything and sue that to help us in our decision making! :D
