Why reveal Emhyr so soon? We’re supposedly going to have 7 seasons and we don’t learn Emhyr’s identity until the Lady of the Lake, the legit final book (I’m fairly certain that’s when we learn his true identity).

It would have made more sense to have Vilgefortz be revealed as Lydia and Rience’s masters because we already know he’s an evil bastard who is lying to everyone - we saw that in season one, episode 8 where he killed a mage. So, like that would have been a big enough reveal - like omg Vilgefortz is orchestrating these nutcases like Rience.

Like it would have been much better to keep the suspense and mystery around Emhyr - keep folks guessing. I mean, it was already hinted at when Fringilla was in that dream crafted by Voleth Meir where The White Flame is speaking to Fringilla, it’s Duny’s voice. So like we were getting the hints so why not leave it another season or two?

We fuckin know Vilgefortz is evil as fuck, show how he’s the puppetmaster of Lydia and Rience. That would have been a big enough reveal cuz we just thought maybe he was a Nilfgaardian spy or something.

Ugh. So unhappy they revealed Emhyr waaaay too soon, there’s not many surprises left now. How are they going to keep folks interested? In some ways I want them to deviate from the books because Lady of the Lake was a massive disappointment but then again, I do want them to respect the preceding ones because they were so fantastic. Ugh.

Rience took the cat after he torched the building but then! Mister fucking fire fucker is killed! Leaving me to wonder where that lovely lil kitty is?!
