see. from a tragedy perspective. the endless conflict and separation of radovid and jaskier is devastating because no matter how much they love each other their relationship cannot thrive in the wartorn world they've been forced into. but. from a "Geraskier Girl since 2020" perspective. the fact that jaskier hears geralt's screams from torture and begs radovid to make them stop and radovid makes jaskier choose between himself and geralt and THAT snaps jaskier out of any chance of staying with radovid because he could never chose anyone over geralt is genuinely one of the best things that could've happened for ME SPECIFICALLY and i am FUCKING obsessed
