When talking about the 8th house in regards to relationships, the first thing that we think of is sex, however the 8th house rules sex because it is all about any type of deeper intimacy in any committed connection. Our 7th house tells us how we relate to others and what type of connections we like to establish with others but the 8th house can tell more about what you need in order to nurture and establish a deeper connection with someone. Of course many other things in the chart are very telling of how you connect with others such as Moon or Venus, but in this post I'll focus on the the 8th house which is all about going past that one-on-one interaction (7th house) to really let the other person in, which is why you may or may not be comfortable with your 8th house energy. This house is very telling of the type of energy you need in order to build trust and strong binding and also how you behave with the people you trust

If you're using placidus and you find that you're in situation where for example you're a water ASC but your 8th house is ruled by water and not air just pay attention to the 7th house description of water asc and the 8th description of fire asc and so on. If your 7th and 8th house are ruled by the same sign for example Virgo, these descriptions still apply cause the following sign (Libra) will still occupy some of the 8th house but you could also relate to the earth 8th house description of air risings

Earth risings really want to get to know someone on a really deep level due to water DSC. They don't necessarily overshare (they very much can), but they are the ones who can get through to others, they're the type to want to make small talk vulnerable or deep right away and you will notice this with how easy it is for them to get through to others. They are very good listeners and can easily make people feel loved and appreciated even through a casual interaction. Just the way the house where Saturn is present indicates restrictions and delays, the house in which Capricorn is present brings tons of wisdom and sound advice/knowledge. For example, a Capricorn in 3H may gain a lot of wisdom from short communication, siblings, neighbours, etc. A Capricorn in 7H from their partners, enemies or even someone from the legal department. 

Fire Mars and/or Fire Risings please make sure to do some sort of physical activity almost everyday. It does not even have to be extremely draining. These individuals have so much energy and it needs to be put to good use. They also feel much better doing this. Stagnancy is not for these individuals.

I honestly have not yet met a Pisces moon that is overtly emotional and put their emotions on display. They are either cheerful or stone cold but rarely with their heart on their sleeves. This is especially true if they are in their 20s or older. Also they are not as selfless as people make them to be. But you will see their emotional side, just maybe after 5 years. 

Virgo moons are pretty critical without even realizing it. They don’t even realize how harsh their words can be but they usually do not have negative intentions behind their words. Sadly this is mostly because they use a similar choice of words when communicating with themselves. Much harsher on themselves than on others.

Want to attract a Gemini Venus? Keep making them laugh. These people love people who can make them laugh and they WILL make you laugh in return. They also tend to have very short relationships or very on and off romantic relationships.

Energy never lies. Energy never misses. If you feel a shift of energy during a conversation or a situation : just fk believe it ! Your little voice might say « It is not that serious » Oh it is !! Believe energy over words. Believe energy over actions. Energy gives you an indication on someone’s intentions. Energy gives you an indication on the true motives of someone.

Especially for water signs/moons/risings or water/moon/pluto/neptune dominant charts. You know you just know. Believe yourself. Don’t let intrusive thoughts and words of others make you doubt what you are feeling. Trust your gut blindly. You can. It’s even a must to prevent yourself from wasting your time and energy on the wrong crowd/friends/lover.

The same goes for fire signs/moons/risings or sun/mars dominant chart and it’s even more instinctive and fast. You just know. Especially if you’re a sidereal water sign/moon/rising.
