Bucharest City Hall occupies main protest square with Christmas market

A Christmas market, the third one to be organized in Bucharest this year, aims to remove the protests from Bucharest’s Victoriei Square.

Haha, for fuck’s sake. You have to love our political leaders, Dragnea & Co: “We need to stop the protesters. You know what? Let’s build a Christmas market on their square. That’s going to stop them!” We do love Romania, but sometimes it’s so crazy up here... Share our Christmas message: Corruption, kills.

We’re fed up with the crazy mayor of Bucharest, Gabriela Firea. She’s destroying the historical buildings with paint, she does nothing to improve the hospitals and schools or to come up with plan to repair the air quality of the capital. Is there something she does? Yes, she’s going to decorate the city with Easter lights. Easter lights? But it surely stays light out late in the spring?  Indeed...
