evil ass gun
ACHNIELD's KLM-62 is a light machine gun in a submachine-gun-sized (I mean, one of the larger ones) package. It was supposed to be a breakthrough on the battlefield, but ACHNIELD never got any big military contracts. Doesn't stop ACHNIELD from approaching other buyers, especially Sacramento Company.
From what I can gather, the thing is strangely reliable, and really well-liked amongst the crew members it was issued to, though they were prone to all the problems that come with helical magazine designs.
It's a solution to a really specific problem that isn't really a glaring issue most of the time, and there's a reason it's either getting phased out, sent to surplus or being handed to troops that really don't do all that much. Subject to change.
