Why you should read Firebreed: Fantasy magic bullshit but also cool airships and cyborgs. LGBT characters, characters of color, characters with actual disabilities and mental illness. The author is a nonbinary lesbian, who if you email or message on tumblr will give u a digital copy of the book for five bucks or a shitty drawing of one of the characters. Also female main villain whos absolutely batshit, and female main character whos sarcastic and hardworking

Firebreed looks really cool (I love mythology + a coming of age story w/ super rad sword fights is My Kind Of Story) and I plan on buying it today or tomorrow and reviewing it when I'm done ✊🏽 And as a Fil-Am, tysm for writing SE Asian, specifically Pinoy, MCs 🔥 Growing up, my school libraries never had fiction w/ SE Asian characters, (and certainly no fantasy stories where Pinoys get to kick ass) so it'll be the 2nd one I read ever. Means a lot to me 🤠
