New fic - Amends

About a month after his father’s downfall at the hands of the Avatar, and within the first week after his crowning ceremony, Zuko had visited Azula in the asylum. He was wary of it, he didn’t necessarily want to, but it felt like the right thing to do. It was the moment for amends, Aang had reminded him, with a pointed look at the folder resting on the corner of Zuko’s desk. Inside, was a meticulous report of Azula’s diagnosis so far, her behaviour, her diet, everything. A falcon arrived at his window every other day with a detailed account of it, and Zuko promptly put it in the folder. He’d not read any of it yet.
