10. Favorite book you’ve read this year?

War for the Oaks by Emma Bull. this was a tough one as it wasn’t the most impressive book I’ve read (that would be Ada Palmer’s Too Like the Lightning/Seven Surrenders which has eaten my brain) but it played my heartstrings like a goddamn harpischord. I’ve heard people describe it as the OG urban fantasy book? I have a review here if you’re interested.

Hi! I have your replacement for ambodyopencoatlongpants, but when my sims with that as a career outfit go to work, they change into ambodyshirtflares. I assumed there was a conflict with another default, but I looked though my files and couldn't find one. And when I took your file out, it just reverted to the original ambodyopencoatlongpants. I'm still fairly new to replacements. Any ideas? Thanks!

11. For the rest of your life, you can only write one of your OCs, which do you choose?

Oh no! Oh, no! How do I pick just one?!

Is it cheating if I say I can’t decide? I feel like that’s cheating. But it’s honestly how I feel. All of my characters mean a lot to me, and each for different reasons. But if I absolutely had to pick just one…hm. 

It’s down to Isidor and Evka for me. Isi because I’ve been writing about him so long that he feels like a close friend instead of a character, he’s brave and humble and human, and he’s seen and experienced so much in such a short time. Evka because she’s intelligent and passionate and kind, someone I would want to play in orchestra beside, and she’s so knowledgeable about her part of the world.

Oh God, so many of them! For this one though, I’m going to say My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix. Surprisingly.

The eyes on your eyebrow blushes preview pics are enchanting! I haven't put new eyes into my game in a while. Could you tell me where they came from? <3

Sure thing! :) I’m always happy to contribute to fellow simmers cluttering their poor Downloads folders , err, I mean, finding nice new cc for their games. :D

1. These are either Jessi’s Keep It All Inside eyes or Trapping’s recolors of the same set… I’m not 100% sure which ones.

2. Mouseyblue’s Window Seat Eyes

3. Whysim’s Mouseyblue eye recolors, but a fair warning: I edited the eyes in my pic quite a bit to make them look more luminous. The original color is a smokey, dullish grey (as can be seen here)

4. My own recolor of Mouseyblue’s Mountain eyes from their Lucky Mix set. It was just this one color made for a specific sim so I didn’t bother making a separate download post for it, but you can still get the eyes with my sim Silenius. :)

5. (I wasn’t sure whether your ask included these eyes as well, buuut just in case): FurbyQ’s Lucky mix extra eye edits (the green set). Furby also shared a few more recolors of the aforementioned Mountain eyes in the same post which are definitely worth checking out!

I think it was just the servers being down after it was released in Europe today? That's what I heard anyway.

The servers did go down this morning, either due to that or a DDOS attack, but then all the status sites online were saying they were back up but I still couldn’t log in. So we watched the Ghostbusters movie, and even after the movie and hanging out for a while at the bookstore neither of us could get into the game and I was still getting the “unable to authenticate” message. But people online were all saying that the servers were back up.

So I googled it, and I found people saying that it was a bug with iOS and the Pokemon Trainer Club accounts. So I made the Gmail burner account, logged in with it, and immediately got back into the game, and although it crashed a few times at the meetup I was always able to get back in.
