Here’s the base model for the Goblin Wolf Rider Lord. Definitely a very classic fantasy feel to him because, though you can’t see it in the pictures because of the lighting and the metal used, he’s not really got a square face like a lot of orc/goblin models have now.
I liked the wolf mount, though I felt as a leader, he needed just a bit... more to him, so I added a piece of slate to the base and some resin bits to the base, while to the wolf itself, I added some severed heads from the GW zombie kit and a small buckler type shield from the Warlord Games Roman Veteran Legionaries sprue I had.
Now, giving him some comparison shots with a Fireforge Games mounted knight and foot serjeant (third pic) and a Perry Miniatures 100 Years War longbowman and a Frostgrave Barbarian (fourth pic) it’s plain to see that he is a fairly sizable model that fits 28mm scale pretty damn well.
I look forward to painting him.
