its called Freeway Park and while it is one of the most interesting single examples of Brutalism in the united states and im proud of it, it is so poorly designed in terms of public safety that it has been renovated twice(?) but continues to be geographically troubling, as its design has facilitated a lot of murders over the years. it was the subject of a funny but gruesome article in the STranger in 2002 called Topography of Terror. the city doesnt keep official tally of how many murders or assaults have happened IN the park but two men in their 30s were stabbed nonfatally during a robbery there earlier this year, for example.

If they didnt specify that, you'd run up against someone who would insist they can panic a door and have it run off the field instead of opening it or blowing it up. in that scenario, there's no rules governing where and how hard you should hit your opponent, so their hands were tied really.

Played a game of Horus Heresy today! My Alpha Legion fought an uphill battle to wrest control of 2 objectives from the Iron Warriors, buried deep in their deployment zone behind a ceramite wall of dreadnoughts. After a bloody struggle to take the centre of the board with an iron fist of Cataphractii Terminators and harass their command structure with a Saboteur and Headhunter kill teams, the XX were able to catch up from behind and force the IV to a hard-fought draw at 14 points a side.
