I forgot to post this yesterday, but not only did I finish a lingering illustration WIP (the mermay piece), I also finished a draft that’s been sitting on my drive since about this time last year, haha. This fic was based on a couple of prompts in the Akuroku server, including fire god, dragon, and happily ever after. (The fic itself was supposed to be pwp, but there’s a bit of story in there, too. :) Enjoy!

His religious followers would burn the dead to send them into the burning afterlife in the realm of Muzpel, where the righteous are reborn as beings of fire and live out their immortal life in paradise while heretics and sinners retain their flesh, only to exist in a endless cycle of agonizing torture.  It’s a religion of peace.

Project sneak peek! So I might have learned how to do a thing. No matter the lighting or angle, I'm losing my orange hues, which is a big indicator digital capture will be difficult. Trust me when I say he glows in person, and I'm not even done. That fire is allll watercolors. Even the black. 🔥🔥🔥Holler if you're interested in a tutorial so I can make a tally.
