Rin sniffed and wiped his eyes as he heard the announcement of his flight, damn, he thought he had more time. His mind was still battling with itself as he wanted and not wanted to go. But this was for his dream so had to go. The redhead then grinned at his group before waving them off, "Alright, I'm outta here! Next time I come back...I'm bringing back the gold!"
Red hues looked at each one of them and smiled, tears forming again as he turned to walk towards his gate number, but not before lingering his gaze over that one guy that always made his heart leap. That guy with bright green eyes and kind smile...if only he had a change to tell him about...

Rin turned towards his partner and grinned as they turned on the sirens and raced towards the fire that was announced. It didn't take long for the two cops to show up and it was already a chaos; but luckily a few fire trucks were already there, firemen working with their hose to put out the fire while others rushed into the tall building to search for any survivors. They quickly rushed to assist and control the crowd as two more units showed up to help.
Three hours passed when the fire was finally out and a few people were saved, no casualties but property to the building was damaged. Well at least everyone was safe and it looked like a few fire fighters were working with EMTs to check on their guys while others started to clean up.
The redhead didn't know why but something told him to stay put for a few more minutes, eyes looking around. His partner was at their unit, calling to dispatch on what was going on and waiting for their next command; Rin frowned and was about to turn back to the police car when he stopped. He thought he recognized someone...
