"I don't want to hurt anyone ever again."
@goryhorroor ’s challenge: We’re still easing in. How about a Stephen King adaptation?
Firestarter 1984
So, this just blew my mind.
There I was, watching Firestarter on the Flix.
And I was enchanted with the actor who plays Andy McGee, the father of Charlie, Drew Barrymore’s character.
As I watched I kept kept wondering why I was so deeply attracted to David Keith, the actor who plays him:
(This is him currently.)
And then it struck me—a young David Keith looks remarkably like Jared Padalecki. Very much so. And since I love Jared so very much, I was instantly armored of a young David Keith.
I mean, check it out:
They look very much alike! Even down to the mole on the left side of their noses! I’m not the only one who thought so because I found this pic on a google search for David Keith!
So then I started to imagine that Firestarter was about a young Sam Winchester and his daughter on the run because of their demon blood abilities. And that was a fun way to watch the movie.
Pretty neat, huh?
Happy birthday, Drew Barrymore! Here's some art inspired by Firestarter and Scream to mark the occasion!
