A team composed almost entirely of Spartans, Fireteam Nike is one of the Vanguard's most successful units to date. Rivaling the likes of the Six Coyotes and Firebreak Order, they tackle missions even the strongest Guardians might flinch at.
Duane-B312 (lead) and Astrid-B013 (co-lead)
The first of the Spartans to be revived, Duane has begrudgingly taken on the role of team lead and representative. He much prefers the 2-man version of the team, where it's only him and Bai, but that's reserved for Hidden assignments.
Astrid is Duane's adopted sister and his quick-witted second-in-command. She acts as both ops planning and primary scout, often able to see things even Duane might miss.
Fun fact: Astrid and Duane were resurrected within hours of each other, but Astrid was briefly timelost while helping the Vanguard breach the Vault of Glass a second time.
Jorge-052 (core) and Elliot-G070 (auxiliary)
Like Noble Team, Jorge has become an integral part of Fireteam Nike. He is the glue that holds the team together, serving as front line assault, weapons specialist, and occasional guidance counsellor.
While Elliot is often doing his own thing with his partner Riley, it is not uncommon for him to join Fireteam Nike for high-priority assignments. He generally serves as tech support, but is flexible enough to fill other roles when necessary.
劉白 [Liu Bai] (core) and Usad (auxiliary)
Bai may not have been a Spartan in his past life, but he is still a force unto his own. As scout and on-field tactical, he helps track and neutralize threats before they have a chance to interfere.
As a search-and-rescue medic for both the City and Pilgrim Guard, Usad is only called on when the need is absolute. His presence ensures that casualties - both Guardian and civilian - remain at an absolute minimum.
RZ-3 (alternate) and Riley (alternate)
RZ-3 is often asked to assist multiple fireteams, and Fireteam Nike is no exception. He relegates himself to "add clear" most of the time, since he prefers to stay out of the Spartans' way.
Although Riley may not be as storied as the rest of Fireteam Nike, he is more than happy to help whenever the need arises. When not working as air support, he assists Elliot with the technical side of things.
