Diluc and his Wolf Gravestone Claymore
❝ Save your money. ❞ for childe
Childe laughs him off. Even if it was a matter of pride for Diluc, he could not bring himself to not pay for his drink. He was, after all, the one who had invited him out, and to allow him to pay was a matter of both pride and courtesy.
"It isn't my money, but the Fatui's, if that makes you feel better about it."

❝ We don’t have to take that road. ❞ for kaeya

What road?
The question, stubborn as the thought it was born from, refuses to leave his lips; this desire within him to remain an ache within him that Diluc both fans and relieves. His presence is one which disquiets Kaeya as much as it feels too familiar; that desire to fall back into old habits once more stirring within a heart of crumpled paper.
“There’s only one road,” he says softly, and the words are a comforting lie, like an alcoholic embrace.
A star-studded gaze rises to look Diluc in the eyes, and something about his eyes gives him pause.
He remembers when they shone brighter than the daylight that burnt like fire but gave birth to all the life in the world. He remembers, and it is both a gift and a curse. To remember is to revere something that no longer exists; to yearn for its return; yet to have known the Diluc of the past is a gift he never deserved.
Kaeya smiles.
“But roads don’t dictate which way someone travels.”

Purple electricity sparked from her blade , singing a song as it hopped over the heated metal and into the ground . Cocky sneer in place , booted feet carried her forward with a sway of her hips . The carnage of fire reflected in her single hue , approaching the camp of hilichurls and other beings of the abyss , already half destroyed by a fellow claymore user .
“ Don’t mind me joining the party ! “ Rushing forward , the Captain joined him in battle , and with a few sweeps of her blade and charging her blade into the ground , the electro conducted through the ground and shocking their enemies around them , a shield surrounding the man to spare him from her own attack .

@firevisioned said: “What’ll it be?”
“If you don’t mind...an actual Dandelion wine, this time around, Master Diluc.”
Huffman said, as he walked up to the bar. He was...exhausted, and just wanted to have a nice night after work. He hadn’t even shredded his uniform, as soon as his shift was over, he had walked straight into the tavern and sat down.
“Have the other knights behaved themselves tonight? Or do I need to talk to a few of them tomorrow?”
His eyes looked over at the other tables, looking for any of his fellow co-workers to make sure they weren’t giving Diluc any trouble that night.

─「蛍」─ “ do you ... ever wished you were strong enough to protect everyone you care for ? ” the question broke the small silence between them, and in a way, it came almost out of nowhere from the usually OPTIMISTIC traveler. the SMILE she usually donned upon her expression was absent for a moment, replaced by a hint of melancholia as aureate orbs were fixated on her partially covered palm. “ you think you were strong enough ... that you have enough strength to keep those you treasure safe, until you’re proven wrong. ” digits flexing idly as though it reminded her of who she failed to GRASP, how desperately she reached out in that single moment only to be all for naught.
“ that regret ... which haunts you to this day. ” it was obvious by now, those WORDS were from her own experience, her own failure. HE was someone strong, someone powerful and capable, so she thought, perhaps, he might have the answer she was searching for. “ — would it ever go away ? ”
“ i won’t leave you here . ” (for Sucrose)
@firevisioned
“I’m fine mister Diluc, I’ve navigated my way around Dragonspire quite well.” She was touched at his concern but being Albedo’s assistant and with his recent work in the mountains Sucrose had to adapt to the new climate. She perfected how to make goulash but having a pyro vision user with her would make freezing to death not happen.
“You’re busy with your winery and bar, I’m sure you’re needed more than to help me get to the temple.” Recent studies on the new artifacts found in the temple is what made her keep coming back.
“ i’m fine. i can walk on my own. ” (for Jean)
@firevisioned
“No you’re not fine.” The grand acting master lightly scolded Diluc, even if he wasn’t a knight he was a citizen of Mondstadt therefore under her care and responsibility. He may be too hard headed to ask for help but he was dense to believe she leave him alone. Calling upon her vision’s power, the wind kicked up around the two and a flurry of dandelions swirled around them. Diluc will be feeling the healing power from the wind ease his discomfrot.
“Give me your arm.” It was more of a demand than a question as Jean took his arm and looped it around her neck, intending to help Diluc back to Mondstadt. “You can’t be reckless, you may not care for the knights but know I care for you.”
