dont be fooled by his sense of honor this is a murder robot with the fighting directives to match. he does his best to be nice about it though and avoid murdering people. instead he only fights the willing and generally avoids killing them if he can.
he is kinda like a carnivore furry trying to avoid killing and eating people in order to live, searching for more morally acceptable ways to survive instead. this can be really fucking difficult for him sometimes though.
duels a lot with tengu thanks to their shared hunger for battle and theyve gained a friendship(???) thanks to this. helps that tengu can get away more easily than other robot masters if sword is going too far and doesnt mind getting torn up so much.
however due to tengu's whole thing with being too good for other people at least performatively this isnt exactly the best most wholesome friendship in the world. they argue all the time over often very small and meaningless things and get genuinely pissed off at each other over this. sword usually isnt pissed off out of the stuff being argued but over tengu's horrible attitude to everything. Tengu does not realise how much of a threat sword can be if he wants to and sword does not want to show him but he is really really tested sometimes.
usually tengu only ever hangs out with sword if he has an incentive (like beating the shit out of each other for fun) as he does with everybody else. but they do have some good conversations and overall common ground just as much as they argue with each other and clash in personality. and generally sword is more likely to hang out with sword for more situations than others... sometimes to get out of stuff lol
