First Day Superhero Fun!

Teachers Blog - Stardate 3/9/18, Location - Beijing, China. All the teachers lined up in the morning this Monday to greet the new and returning students to the Beijing campus. Not that anybody could tell who’s who of course, the kids were all dressed up in an awesome variety of Superhero costumes, Disney Princesses and various uniforms. Even the teachers got into the spirit of things with Iron Man, Spider Man, Batgirl and various Supermen (and Gargamel of “Smurfs” fame) wandering around the grounds to provide photo ops for the kids.

There she goes.

And here I am again, surrounded by fear and doubt. It is not that I doubt God is real and alive, it is the doubt I have for myself. I think, it is really that way: when we doubt ourselves, we learn to trust God. Oh, by the way, there are two kinds of doubt. The doubt that keeps you from God, and the one does not. So, this doubt I am feeling is teaching me to trust the Lord and His might. His ability to turn things around. That I learn to not to rely on my own abilities and strength, but to let Him move. I can say that He is all that I have. I am poor without Him. Hopeless, broken, lost... The worst things in life is in me without Him. This, again, is the time to just let go of the fears and doubts and unbelief. I don't need those things. I need Jesus. Desperately.
