Here’s the thing...
I sort of get into a state of...not really “envy”, but I feel left behind sometimes at the stage I’m at in my life. So, I already knew when getting into the field of psychology that it wasn’t gonna be high demand and that I’d have to work harder than most to get a good-paying job, or whatever.
But, it’s like I’m surrounded by people (namely my bf and his family) who only have to get their bachelor’s before they can leave school and make a SHIT ton of money (they all majored in either computer science or electrical engineering). Like, after all the work they put in, they get to find a job and sit pretty, y’know? They already have an easier time affording stuff.
While I’m over here, living from paycheck to paycheck and wondering if I can be hired literally anywhere else after college for the rest of my life because I don’t really have a lot of experience or marketable skills yet. Not gonna lie, I’m a little scurred and feeling inferior sometimes.
