I’m gonna be the grossest I have ever been the next few days loading all these boxes everywhere in this Texas heat...UGH
So... I finally got a job! I’m going to be the assistant branch manager of a library branch in Kansas City! This impending move is super chaotic because I’m hoping to start the job on Feb. 1st. I’m stoked. Nervous and slightly sad... when I told my dad at the nursing home a few day ago he started crying and I couldn’t calm him down. Apparently he had been in a sad mood for about a day, but I feel horrible... I tried to tell him that I’ll transfer him up there after I get settled, but ugh. I bawled when I got into my car. Plus, I’ve never been away from my sister before and we’re basically inseparable, so that adjustment will be hard, but technology will help keep us connected. <3 AHHH! So many big changes happening really quickly. We’re going up on Friday to tour apartments. 2017 is already an adventure!
Listening to my family cry about me moving states is honestly heartbreaking and I’m holding back tears. I don’t know how the hell im going to cope leaving them and my absolute best friend and her family. This is such a hard thing to do and tbh I’m breaking in doing it....
