Description: A mysterious bald man in a black suit and fedora, he is known to appear at and observe important moments in history, as well as 'fringe' events; seemingly impossible sci-fi occurrences that are happening at an increasingly alarming rate. It is later revealed that he is a part of a team of scientists from the future, sent back in time to observe and ensure the timeline that leads to their existence is maintained. Able to travel through time and between universes, he can see multiple possible outcomes and timelines simultaneously. He is always a dozen steps ahead of anyone he meets, to the point where he can predict what someone will say, often saying it simultaneously or before someone says it, as well as setting off a chain of events to result in his intended outcome. Any time he makes a notable appearance, the characters know Something is about to happen. I say 'notable' appearance as he also makes an appearance in the background in pretty much every episode, usually in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it walk-by in a crowd shot, adding an extra meta level for the audience, who are scouring each scene to spot him.
