Bart walked back to his apartment. He carried a bag with a S.T.A.R labs pin. Despite being urged to quit the habit, his attention was fully focused on a game on his phone. He nearly tripped, but caught himself in time.

Then, he was hit by a totally unrelated bolt of light. "Whoa!" He stuffed his phone away quickly and analyzed himself, turning to the source of the magic. "...What just happened?"

okay but

our muses meeting through very awkward/weird ways, like. date matching apps. both go on a date at the same place but only muse a gets a date and the other gets stood up so muse a calms muse b down.

muse a has a cat that loves doing crazy stuff and one day it goes over to muse b’s hourse and decides to be their guest

“oh shit is that the wrong pizza delivery? well who cares it’s the last pizza i have to deliver so here you go, enjoy a free pizza. oh we’re neighbors? hella rad. and you love this kinda pizza? even better”

or maybe muse a has always been able to do something that muse b loves/admires and muse b stumbles upon muse a being in their natural habitat/working place and watching them do it very silently for a while before they announce their presence with a soft “hey, this looks lovely, how long have you been doing that?”
